I have been practicing lucid dreaming for a while with some success. But I have encountered a problem that I cannot get past and I wonder if you have any insights into what it may be. The problem is that when I get to the hypnogogic state or the place thet Castaneda calls the first gate of dreaming something I can only describe as an entity of some sort attaches itself to my back. It feels so real and actually digs sharp talons into my flesh if I attemp to remove it. This actually causes me real physical pain and some fear. I have tried to ignore it and usually I can sink into a lucid dream. But I still feel it on my back in the dream which freaks me out somewhat and then I wake up. I really enjoyed this podcast. Breakups have led to my rather dramatic undoing a few times. My EGO loves to be slapped around I think. I listened to 6 of your podcasts back to back while doing my webwork and I feel your model of perception is refreshingly accurate and universal. Furthermore, I like how you speak from your own subjective experience which is apparent by your boisterous outbursts of laughter. I love to laugh at the insanity of my perception of the past in the same manner. What else can we do? I can't find more funny material than myself. You seem to do the same thing. If fact I just so happened to be casually viewing YouTube clips and came across the Bridging Heaven and Earth video with you on it. What caught my attention was you mentioning Jane Roberts - Seth. Before I saw your interview, I have been scratching the surface of the Seth Material. And when you shared your childhood experiences, I needed to hear everything you had to say. I have had similar experiences and I believe my son has them too in regards to being sensitive. I always thought I was just weird until hearing your stories so thank you. It was blue grass. I listened to every word but nothing made sense. I began reading about Seth, the third child of Adam and Eve and how there was the Sethians and so on which lead me to the Book of Thomas, etc. Then one day I went to another Seth site and was shocked. On the Jane Roberts site there was an image of four CD's with the same Jane Roberts picture on each. They were shown exactly how they were shown to me in the dream. After reading and listening to some of the Seth Sessions, I knew I was meant to be doing this. The material rings so true to me and I feel I need to share it somehow.
